FAQ

Skincare

What facial treatment should I get?

If you are unsure on what facial treatment is best for you, we recommend starting with our custom blend facial or coming in for a free 15 min consultation with one of our licensed Estheticians.

What to do before I come in?

The only time you need to prepare for a facial is if you are getting a chemical peel, microderm, or dermapen. We recommend discontinuing use of all vitamin A products and BHA/AHA products to avoid any extra irritation.

What contraindication are there with facials?

We do not recommend getting a facial if you are going through chemo or radiation therapy, as your skin is more sensitive due to these medical treatments. We also do not recommend getting a facial if you are accutane for acne. Please let us know if you are pregnant or lactating so we may use appropriate products during your service.

Massage Therapy

What should I expect during a massage?

Each therapist will customize your treatment to your liking. We can do anything from a full body massage to avoiding areas you choose. You will be covered during your treatment to your comfort level. Therapist will have open dialogue with you throughout for change in pressure.

Can I get a massage while pregnant?

Yes, however you must be in your second trimester with no health problems. If you are unsure if you should get a massage please check with your physician first. Prenatal massages are a great way of relieving back pain and making moms feel relaxed.

What is the difference between Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue?

The difference is between the massages is pressure at which the massage is performed. Swedish is a classic style of massage meant for relaxation with a smoother, softer touch. While, deep tissue gets deeper into the muscle using heavier hands, and trigger point technique. Deep tissue is more strenuous on the therapist therefore making the increased price.

New to massage?

If you have never had a massage before we recommend starting with a Swedish Massage.

What Therapist should I pick?

Ask our front desk to recommend a therapist for you. We will ask what type of pressure you like and what you are looking to achieve and will pair you with the therapist we think will be best for you. We also recommend you trying all of our therapists so you can find the perfect fit.

Waxing

What should I do before I come in?

You should discontinue use of any Vitamin A or BHA/AHA products 5-7 day prior to being waxed to avoid irritation. If you are getting a body part waxed please allow 14 days of growth before scheduling.

Does waxing hurt?

Waxing can be uncomfortable in certain areas of the body. We switched to hard wax, which is a lot more tolerable for the client.

Spray Tanning

What should I do to prepare?

We recommend that you are showered, shaved, and exfoliated before you come in for your spray tan. Please removed all makeup and deodorant prior to coming in.

What should I do after my tan?

Please do not shower for at least 12-24 hours after receiving a spray tan. We also suggest you use lotion after you shower to keep your tan fresh. Tans that are taken well care of can last anywhere from 5-10 days.
